This is roughly how each session works:
When you arrive at the studio, I’ll show you several drawings.
Following a few guiding questions, I’ll create a design proposal directly on your body, using your favorite parts of the drawings, making sure it fits your body, and adding freehand details to tie the piece together.
This stage is purely experimental: we’ll move elements around and add and remove pieces until we arrive at the final design.
Once you’re happy with the design and how it looks on your body, we’ll begin the tattooing process.
I’ll create the tattoo by layering shades of gray and adding details, and once it’s finished, I’ll show you the result. “Do you like it like this? Do you want some parts to be darker or have more detail?”
Based on your feedback, we can continue working on the tattoo or consider it complete.
After thoroughly cleansing the skin, I will photograph the piece and apply Second Skin.
Once we have reviewed the aftercare instructions, the session will be over.
